Logline:

Synopsis:
Tangled Illusions follows Mort, the loyal enforcer for a narcissistic, cult-like crime boss, whose far reaching empire of trafficking and exploitation hides behind a self-help program called the Psychophantic System. As Mort's nephew Sterling is pulled into the family business and rises quickly through its ranks, Mort commits to breaking free to save a woman trapped inside the operation with him. Meanwhile, Merle, his other nephew, searches for the "one true church” with his wife Regina showing a mirror against the corruption swallowing the rest of the family. Facing his inability to extract himself, Mort finds his entire family headed toward a reckoning between loyalty, greed, and redemption.
